We are an international network of enthusiastic senior ministries of Olivet local churches that want to make a difference in their lives and the lives of other seniors in their communities by spreading the Message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As seniors we have lived long lives so we have come to know the eternal character of the truth embodied in the Bible and it is this Truth and the baggage of experiences that we have accumulated what we are sharing in our congregations and communities.
We invite seniors all over the world to join us in this effort.
We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe in One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ.
We believe in the Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
The Senior Ministry in WOA pretends to be a platform that aged people can use in their quest for getting closer to God. We hope this Ministry can highlight the presence of seniors in our church and at the same time serve as a mean for them to realize the importance that WOA confers to their presence in our local temples. We also hope that senior people will make of this Ministry an important tool in involving them more in the mission of the church in an environment of devotion and fellowship.
